Spy Thriller Author
Tim Gallows
Subject Profile:
My day job is in cybersecurity, where I spend my time defending digital borders. By night, I write about the spies who are paid to cross them.
My obsession with stories started early. I landed my first job at age 13 shelving paperbacks at “The Book Nook” and later put myself through college working the counter at Waldenbooks.
I’ve always been a voracious reader with eclectic tastes—devouring everything from Jim Butcher’s urban fantasy to the quirky crime of Carl Hiaasen. But my obsession eventually zeroed in on the adrenaline of the spy thriller.
I created the Azarias Woulfe series to bring a new perspective to espionage fiction and technothrillers, combining high-stakes energy with a hero who felt familiar to me. My mission is to bring authentic queer characters to the forefront of the genre, crafting stories with as much heart as they have grit.
My debut novel, The Woulfe Intrusion, introduces Azarias Woulfe—a disgraced black-ops soldier with the courage to bleed for a country that cast him aside, and the brains to outwit its most dangerous enemies. In short, he’s a badass.
When I’m not crafting global conspiracies, you can usually find me rolling dice as a long-suffering Game Master for my tabletop group. I live in the Tennessee mountains with my partner, and I’d love to connect with you.

Media Kit & Official Bio
Tim Gallows is the architect behind the Woulfe Spy Thriller series, a collection of premium, tech-forward espionage novels written for readers who demand intelligence, geopolitical nuance, and relentless pacing. Blending the micro-level action of Jason Bourne with the macro-level paranoia of John le Carré, Gallows crafts stories rooted in modern, asymmetric warfare. He operates as a “tradecraft curator,” weaving real-world intelligence trivia, adversarial evasion patterns, and authentic spy mechanics into his fiction.
At the center of his universe is Azarias Woulfe—an operative who shatters the traditional “forgettable face” trope. Instantly recognizable by his red hair and beard, Woulfe cannot rely on effortlessly blending into a crowd; he survives through superior tactical intellect and tech evasion. Furthermore, Woulfe’s identity as a gay man is handled with grounded, matter-of-fact realism, treating his personal life with the same gritty authenticity as his weapon loadouts. As Woulfe battles a shadow group bent on global manipulation through cyberweapons and bespoke pathogens, readers feel the deep physical and emotional toll exacted upon him to keep the innocent safe.
Beyond the page, Tim Gallows is building a sophisticated, premium brand. He treats his readers with immense respect, delivering immersive, tactile reading experiences through bespoke physical editions and cinematic aesthetics. Through his “Woulfe Pack” newsletter, Gallows invites his fans inside the perimeter, sharing classified intel briefings and treating his community not just as consumers, but as vetted agents in a shared, thrilling world.
